Great Investment Potential
in Tamarindo's "North End"
Jade Coast is located in Tamarindo's North End, the zone near the beach between the Diria Hotel and the local airport. This area is quickly emerging as having that magic combination of great beaches, views, convenience, and services that make it perhaps the best investment area in town, with a high probability of excellent appreciation.
Playa Langosta, at the South End of Tamarindo, has long been described as the most exclusive area and commanded a large premium. However, if you're a thoughtful real estate investor, you will take a close look at what is happening in an area before you commit your hard-earned money.
In the North End, all the signs are encouraging. For starters, it is less than five minutes to the Tamarindo airport. You can walk to all the conveniences of downtown. You do not need to make the frustrating drive through the crowded town center to reach your home. But it's the new development that points to property appreciation ahead.
Perhaps most notable is the AutoMercado, Costa Rica's premier supermarket which meets the demanding requirements of an international clientele. At their site just north of the Hotel Milagro, AutoMercado is the first supermarket in Tamarindo, and the first air-conditioned food shopping - and that is a big deal! From Jade Coast, it is just a two-minute drive to AutoMercado. Bank offices are also available in the North End. The town's only hardware store and gasoline are in the North End as well.
But you should also look to the high-end custom homes in the hills, as well as the new condominium developments that are well into construction. These are high-end and support real estate values; you can see the evidence just by driving the main road past Tamarindo Heights, El Tesoro, and La Perla.
Playa Langosta is already priced at a premium. The North End has yet to make the jump.
Before you invest in Tamarindo, look ahead and consider the scarcity factor -- the hills behind the North End mean there just isn't much land to build on. Remember the classic advice: "Buy in the up and coming area." And to that, you might add: "Invest in what will be scarce."

"The house looks great. Everyone who sees it loves it. You guys did a great job building it and I would not change a thing. Thank you for your hard work!!"
